25 Random things about ME

I have been tagged by some friends to write down 25 things about me. So here it goes.

1. I absolutely love being Taylor's momma. I know this may sound funny, but I really can't remember what I did everyday before she was born. She has given me (and Patrick) so much joy.

2. I love to be entertained. By that I mean, I love going to the movies or reading a good book. If I find a movie or book I like, I will usually read or watch it over and over again.

3. I miss being in the country. I grew up in Mantee, MS, a extemely small town with only 1 four-way stop. Everyone knew everyone. I never once had to show my id at the bank, because they all knew my mom and dad. I would love for Taylor to be able to experience life in a small town.

4.I love large families. Patrick come from an extremely large family on his dad's side, and they are so close. They do alot of things through the year so that everyone can get together. I LOVE going to Vardaman to spend time with them. They are so much fun and we all have a blast.

5.Patrick and I love to go out to eat. I one of our favorite things to do.

6. I hate cleaning. I really do. If I was rich, I think I would pay someone to do it.

7. I love to sing. I sing all the time...in the car, at home. I think Taylor has even started to try and sing.

8. I don't know a lot of lullabys, so ever since Taylor was born I have sang her songs from the hymnal. Now, that she is 18 months old, I still sing her hymns, and sometimes those are the only songs that calm her down and put her to sleep.

9.I usually start a diet every monday, however, by tuesday I am totally over it.

10.I hate butterbeans..don't know why, just never liked them.

11. I loved college. I had so much fun at the BSU at MSU.

12. I am still searching for the perfect pair of jeans.

13. I hate that I have to work. My dream job is to be a stay-at-home mom.

14. Our new thing that we want is a Wii....we love the bowling.

15.When I was little my best friend, sarah, would come over after school, and we would walk down to the pond and go fishing and eat kingdongs and drink Dr. Pepper. I miss those days.

16.I have to put the dishes in the dishwasher. If Patrick does, I have to go back and redo it.

17. I loved my college roommates. We still keep in touch through facebook, and apart from Patrick and Taylor, those are the only girls I would ever want to live with.

18. I love to take showers.

19. I love that Patrick likes to go hunting on my family land..The land has been in my family since before my grandparents were born, and I always want it to stay that way.

20. I love to eat fresh vegetable out of the garden. Sometimes you don't even have to cook them.

21. I have eaten wild squirrel, rabbit, deer, turkey, quail, duck, and alligator. They are all good and, no, they don't all taste like chicken.

22. I love to go barefoot. When I was little we didn't wear shoes in the summer unless we were going somewhere.

23. I love my wedding. It was exactly what I had always dreamed about. Groom included.

24. I hate stupid movies that have no plot...(ex. Dumb and Dumber)

25. I am addicted to reading peoples blogs.

Christmas 2008

Hey. Okay, so I haven't been very good at updating the blog lately. It is still so new to me. Anyway, my only excuse is that I have completely taken over by the Twilight series books....they are so good. I am officially in love with the character of Edward Cullen. I am still not quite finished with the last one, but they are so good. I am blaming my cousin for getting me interested in these books. Thanks Erin!! If she hadn't had that second book, I might not be completely obsessed. What am I saying.....of course I would be.

In between all my reading, we have been going to our families for Christmas.
Christmas this year was so much fun for Taylor, she really got in to tearing the paper off all her gifts. I don't think she got the whole "Santa Clause" thing, but I am sure she will figure it out. Here are some of her Christmas pictures.
