Happy Halloween!

I know I am only a month behind, but here are their halloween costumes. Patrick and I took Taylor to our churches "Trunk and Treat", while GiGi stayed with Lexie. However, I couldn't resist putting her in Taylors old costume and taking some pictures.

Happy Halloween!!

A little something to think about....

I believe in Christianity as I believe that the Sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else. -- C. S. Lewis

Alexis "Lexie" Kate

Okay...sorry for not posting earlier...but 2 kids makes it alot harder to find anytime to do anything. So, here a few pics of Alexis....we are calling her Lexie for short because Patrick and I both loved that for her nickname. Both our kids have nicknames, and we hope to continue this tradition should we ever have more children...
Lexie was 8lbs 1 oz and 201/2 inches long.

Taylor's 2nd Birthday

Oh, I can't believe it has been over a week since Taylor turned 2. Where is the time going. Her party was a complete success (in my book, anyway). Everything seemed to flow so smoothly. Family and friends were the and Taylor was SO into the whole party for Her thing.

This is a picture of Taylor with her cake. She loved blowing out those candles.
(Suzanne you did an AWESOME job. Thanks.)

We all had so much fun that day, even though it was extremely busy. Taylor loved opening her presents and if you come to visit us you will have to step over everyone of them to get in our house. Patrick and I got her a swing set that came in on Monday (yes, the day after her party), but with all the rain Patrick has not been able to put it up. Hopefully, we can get it put together this weekend, and I will post pictures of her playing on it.

This is my favorite gift that Taylor got from her Daddy Mike (Patrick's dad). It is an Add-a-Pearl necklace with two little pearls (for her 2nd birthday). It is absolutely gorgeous. It will be so sweet to add to it every year, and she can cherish it forever. Thanks, Mr. Mike.

Picture Session and Father's Day

Patrick and I took Taylor around Madison the other day and attempted to take her picture. Here are some that we took.

When we asked her to smile, she showed us her teeth.

She likes to wave at her daddy as he tries to get her to smile.

This is the "I can't believe I won" pose......so professional!

And lastly, a picture of Taylor and her daddy to celebrate Father's Day.

Happy Father's Day Patrick!! We love you!
